Cold and inviting, the Maine Coast is well worth a photography trip if you have the inclination.
Sidenote: Now back in Japan from the Christmas trip to Maine, I am just getting caught up on life again and planning some really big things for this daily travel photo blog. I admit I’ve been doing the minimum to keep this site going while I work like a fiend in the background preparing some long overdue changes. I also haven’t done much in terms of promotion lately so I understand the drop in daily visitors. Thanks for those who have stayed tuned, you won’t regret it.
During the summer they are alight with tourists and wharf restaurants, but during winter fishing villages like Boothbay Harbor are generally pretty quiet. The cold stillness is somewhat haunting, but also calming.
During my 36 hours at home between Ecuador and Japan I was able to sneak away to Spring Point Breakwater after my graduation party. Less than 14 hours from this video’s filming I board a plane go to Tokyo via D.C.
