Singapore: Sentosa Island Sunset

Thus begins my posting from my 10 day trip to beautiful Singapore!
This was taken at sunset on the southern beach of the island of Sentosa. Also of interest, Sentosa claims to be the southern most point of continental Asia.

Haha, wow, natsukashii! I lived in Singapore as a kid and Sentosa was a big attraction back then - they had just built the cable car and the monorail there (in fact, it was while I was there that there was an accident where a boat snapped the cable of the cable car). I remember as well that there was a war museum over there that coloured a lot of my perceptions about Japan before coming here to live. I was glad to see that Japanese people have mellowed a lot since then.
