Dazaifu: Wedding Procession
December 7th, 2010
To my happy surprise, a wedding procession walked right by where I was photographing the flower displaying (as seen in tomorrow’s post). It’s refreshing to see the similarities and compare the differences in important ceremonies between Western and Japanese culture. The attire of those involved is particularly interesting. Notice the beautiful white headpiece on the bride.
