Nara: A Cat and Lunch in Nara Park

November 25th, 2010

Nara Park Cat

Japanese people love cute things, especially cats. So when they go to burn incense at world heritage sites like Todaiji or Kofukuji in Nara Park, it makes perfect sense they would keep their precious Schnookums along.

Japanese style fried pork cutlets on curry and rice (called katsu curry) is a dish I could eat everyday for a month and still love it afterward. The restaurant pictured is near Nara Station.

    @Lori
    Based on how it appears the human is clinging to the animal and not the other way around, I would tend to agree that that cat has likely been dragged to many a World Heritage sites.
