Dazaifu: Autumn at Komyozenji Temple
November 26th, 2010
Autumn in Japan is magnificent. It may even be more visually stunning than the cherry blossoms of Spring. Maybe.
Komyozenji Temple in Daizaifu, Japan has a serene zen garden out back that is peaceful any time of year, but especially invites visitors to sit and soak in the quiet beauty during Autumn when the leaves are changing.
I decided to scrap my scheduled photos in order to post the Koyo (Japanese for “colorful leaves”) shots I snapped last weekend from Dazaifu. Look forward to more in the coming days. I’m fairly excited myself as I think they turned out decently. Be sure to leave a comment!
