Hello. Thanks for visiting. I am happy to inform you that this site is no longer active. This paradoxical joy is because I am now posting all my content at my new daily travel and photography blog. If you like what you see here, you’ll hopefully equally enjoy my new site. Plus, all the content on this site has been moved to my new as well. So, there’s no reason not to click ahead to unframedworld.com now! See you there. ^-^
Currently I am working hard on a project I’ve kept quiet for some time that finally looks to be shaping up. I’m taking this and potentially next week off to work on some site overhaul stuff. When we return we’ll dive in with pictures from beautiful snowy Maine, USA.
Cold and inviting, the Maine Coast is well worth a photography trip if you have the inclination.
Sidenote: Now back in Japan from the Christmas trip to Maine, I am just getting caught up on life again and planning some really big things for this daily travel photo blog. I admit I’ve been doing the minimum to keep this site going while I work like a fiend in the background preparing some long overdue changes. I also haven’t done much in terms of promotion lately so I understand the drop in daily visitors. Thanks for those who have stayed tuned, you won’t regret it.
The designs in the well worn rocks on the Maine coast are strong and beautiful. Currently, the third in this set is my desktop background.
Sidenote: Today, I fly back to Japan. I look forward to editing and uploading the photos I took of Maine during the Christmas season.
During the summer they are alight with tourists and wharf restaurants, but during winter fishing villages like Boothbay Harbor are generally pretty quiet. The cold stillness is somewhat haunting, but also calming.
